Helena Simões

Helena is an Industrial Engineer turned Cake Artist who honed her craft through boundary-pushing experimentations in her studio 'Fleur de Lys Atelier' based in Portugal. She has developed original avant-garde techniques which has awarded her opportunities to teach her art from in a growing number of locations which include Dubai, Barcelona, Jordan, the United States, and Nigeria. At present, she dedicates most of her time researching for new edible materials, and teaching at her studio, in Vila Nova de Gaia, online, and also in schools In Portugal and worldwide.
